What is a Mitzvah?
A mitzvah is an act of loving kindness performed for others, in other words, helping someone out. When becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, it is a tradition that we perform a mitzvah of our own. We are challenged to find something that we are passionate about and to which we want to give back. This is known as a mitzvah project.
Beber Camp has created ways for campers of Bar/Bat Mitzvah age to raise money for the scholarship program which helps send more children to camp.
